The Portuguese company Impactplan started by protecting and decorating the skis of Águeda, but it has been advancing throughout Portugal and around the world. This year it also walks through the airs of Wimbledon and Bercy and in other Portuguese cities it also has a luminous impact.
They were born in Águeda and quickly spread to streets all over the world, in temporary artistic installations. There are many umbrellas, but not like these, the colorful and illuminated umbrellas that the Portuguese company Impactplan has been creating since 2012.
Once again, Águeda's umbrellas light up for Christmas, but the Umbrella Sky Project also adds color to the court in London and Paris. For the first time, the project lands in the UK, with the creation of a Christmas art installation for the Center Court Shopping mall in Wimbledon, with a sky of green, blue and white umbrellas.

However, even though it was the colorful umbrellas that catapulted the company to international fame, Impactplan developed other artistic installation projects in public spaces - having been responsible for the Christmas decorations in several Portuguese cities (and beyond).
