We color another train station in Águeda!
In addition to last year we colored the Águeda train station with 3 colored panels with some symbolic elements of the city such as Vouguinha, Grupo Folclórico and our Umbrella Sky Project, this year we also painted the wood of the rails. When visitors arrive in the city, their colorful journey begins as soon as they step off the train.
This year, we received the challenge to fill a large empty wall measuring 9mx5m, at the Macinhata do Vouga train station. It took 3800 tiles to cover the entire wall!
The thousands of tiles were stamped with thousands of photographs of the city of Águeda, the art installations, landmarks of the city and beautiful landscapes around it. Local photographers, city visitors and our team contributed to the collection and selection of these beautiful photographs that resulted in this incredible mural!
