What does summer mean in the city? A burst of vibrant tones. A gust of wind that suddenly refreshes the atmosphere. Through temporary installations or by inviting us to cutting-edge urban parks, cities around the world encourage us to fully celebrate those months of good weather and more free time.
The Umbrella Sky project was born in Águeda, Portugal, in the form of a multicolored umbrella installation to bring shade to the city streets that both residents and tourists travel in the warm summer sun to enjoy open-air artwork on occasion from the Ágitagueda art festival.
