In Ovar, these days, there are streets and spaces decorated in a way of announcing Carnival. The giant, colorful letters that read "OVAR", in Largo do Tribunal, only attract the attention of the most distracted at night, when the lights turn on. But the decorations that cover a few meters of streets, in which the Town Hall invested this year, do not go unnoticed by anyone. At Rua Luís de Camões, in the access to Praça das Galinhas, and at Rua Elias Garcia or even Largo Mouzinho de Albuquerque. Luminous panels and arches extend through the streets, one with allusions to the sea and the god of the seas, the other with the image of a giant-sized clown and musical notes flying over the center. Next year, the Municipality wants to extend the decorations to more streets.
